Marie Antoinette Review
The review I read was by Brian Tallerico. I knew by the first paragraph that this guy knew what he was talking about. Coppola spent way to much time on the costumes and not enough on the life of Marie Antoinette. The costumes were stunning I will admit, but I barely learned a thing about Marie. Brian mentioned his grief in the review about the costumes coming before the plot and I agree with him that this ruined the movie.
The only part I wish Tallerico
would have mentioned in his review was how awful the ending was. The ending basically just left the
viewer hanging. It didnŐt show
anything exciting and it was basically just a disappointment. How about the next time Coppola directs
a movie, maybe she should put the plot and details before the backdrop.
